Construction work includes building the toll plaza, pouring concrete for the road and barriers, and adding finishing touches. Workers will focus next on building toll facilities like road lights, signs, sound barriers, as well as setting up the toll collection system.
The opening of the Silang toll exit is expected to help an additional 5,000 drivers every day, making it easy for them to access this busy area.
By 2024, Calax will increase to 45 kilometers and will have eight interchanges: Technopark; Laguna Boulevard; Santa Rosa-Tagaytay Road; Silang East; Silang (Aguinaldo); Governor's Drive; Open Canal, and Kawit Interchange. It will connect to the Manila-Cavite Expressway or Cavitex in Kawit. Right now, it stretches from Mamplasan Rotunda to Silang East Interchange.

Property developers and homeowners alike can look forward to potential growth in property values in the vicinity of the new exit.

Environmental Considerations
